Kingsville ISD to host School Improvement Forum on Dec. 17

By Kingsville Independent News Staff

Kingsville Independent School District will host a School Improvement Forum on Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Kingsville ISD board room, 207 N. Third St.

According to the district, the forum will include discussion of the district’s accountability review, school improvement plan, and a proposed school consolidation.

The meeting is open to the public and is intended to provide community members with information about district priorities and upcoming decisions that could affect local campuses.

Why this matters

School improvement plans and accountability reviews influence how campuses are evaluated, supported, and funded. Proposed changes, including possible school consolidation, may have long-term impacts on students, families, staff and neighborhoods.

Public forums allow community members to learn more about the district’s plans, ask questions and follow decisions that shape local schools.
