Kingsville Monthly, a locally produced lifestyle magazine originally published from October 2024 to May 2025, is set to relaunch in June 2026 as part of Kingsville Independent News.
The magazine, which ran for eight issues during its initial run, focused on highlighting local businesses, community events, and everyday life in Kingsville through a visually driven format that combined print and digital distribution.
Copies were distributed at local businesses, farmers markets, and through participating advertisers, while a digital flipbook version made each issue accessible online.
The publication paused after its initial run as efforts shifted and time was taken to regroup. The upcoming relaunch reflects a renewed approach, including the addition of a team to support both editorial and business operations.
Now operating under Kingsville Independent News, Kingsville Monthly Magazine will expand its reach while maintaining its original focus on community and lifestyle content. Kingsville Independent News will continue to focus on local reporting and explainers, while the magazine will provide a complementary platform centered on visual storytelling, local features, and regional coverage.
The relaunch also reflects an effort to provide local and regional businesses with an additional platform for visibility through a professionally designed print publication that is also available online, said Claudia Perez Rivas, founder of Kingsville Independent News and creator of Kingsville Monthly Magazine.
The first issue of the relaunched Kingsville Monthly Magazine is scheduled for June 2026.
