Kingsville FFA to host ‘Unsung Heroes’ Breakfast honoring local service workers

By Kingsville Independent News Staff

Kingsville FFA will host an Unsung Heroes Breakfast later this month to recognize the ranchers, farmers, and first responders who play a vital role in the Kingsville community.

The event is scheduled for February 23, 2026, from 7 to 7:50 a.m., at 2210 Brahma Blvd. and will offer a complimentary breakfast to those being honored.

“These are the people who support and protect our community in ways that don’t always make headlines,” Kingsville FFA said in its announcement.

Organizers say the event is meant to acknowledge both agricultural workers who help feed the region and first responders who are often the first to step in during emergencies.

“From the fields and ranches that sustain us to the men and women who respond to emergency calls, this breakfast is our way of saying thank you,” the organization said in its announcement.

Local ranchers, farmers, and first responders are invited to attend. Those planning to participate are asked to RSVP by February 20 to help organizers prepare.
